Party Town 04:53
It's a party town and there's a carnival. Everyone's a freak and no one's a frown. We sell cigarettes to kids, sell meth to the 'necks, get that pussy wrecked, then go cash our checks; and hit the road again tomorrow... Trippin' balls on LSD, it's not the world, it's me; lighter than the earth, heavier than the sea. Yes, what I want is already mine, it's comin' to me. Absolution in those misty waters, callin' out your best friend's daughter, hangin' with the skeezballs at the bar. And tryin' to raise the votes for Freedom Hall- and wantin' to call. The dirt road, the dusty road: path of the purest ever souls; lookin' at skies that are really alive. Yes, I release the groundhogs, get rewarded with rainbows...

about

There is a strong streak of humor running through all my work, as I'm sure one has noticed by now. This humor pervades this album; humor is often a more accurate way to truth perceptions than sorrow. The Buddhists say life is suffering already; when we can perceive the horror and feel the pain but throw our head back and laugh anyway - at the beauty, the absurdity - we are on the surefire path of LOVE. Where there are no needs, only desires and hopes and dreams; where they all become one.
